The Student Career Compass: 18th March 2026
Since 2018, as a collective of some of the UK’s most well‑known employers, we have worked together to help students – whether at school, college, or university – navigate the uncertainty surrounding career choices and prepare for the rapidly changing world of work.
We are delighted to host our 11th Student Career Compass event on 18 March 2026, bringing together leading organisations from a range of sectors, including Aveva, the BBC, Deloitte, NatWest Group (including NatWest Markets), RSM UK, and international law firm Trowers & Hamlins.
The world of work is evolving faster than ever, and today’s students need clarity on the roles, skills, and opportunities shaping the future. This event will provide:
- Insight into different industries and day‑to‑day realities of key roles
- Perspectives from recent graduates and apprentices
- Guidance on early career routes and application processes
- Practical advice on how to stand out to employers
The evening will begin with an extended CV Clinic, running from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, giving students the opportunity to bring their CVs and receive personalised feedback from industry experts. The formal programme will start at 5:00pm, where participating organisations will also share what they specifically look for in a strong CV, as well as examples of the types of questions typically asked during their interviews. This is the kind of insight you won’t want to miss.
For those attending in person, there will be employer stalls later in the evening for one‑to‑one conversations with recruiters and graduates, as well as a stall on entrepreneurship and how to start your own business.
Students can participate either in person or online. Please register below and indicate which option you prefer.
